All I have to say is GOODBYE JULY ✧ ✧ ✧ In my soul as of late, I have felt unbalanced. To be quite honest there has been some resurfacing of forgotten pain. Unresolved issues around perception of self and success. Ultimately, this has limited my creativity with fear. And basically just created a funk. July was a rough ass month for me and mainly it was my inner dialogue that was the most intense. So I am stoked that August is upon us and the newness a new month brings!
August is a jammed pack month astrologically. The final spectacular if you will, is happening near the end of August (8/21) with the Solar Eclipse. This event will create one of the largest energy sources for invoking transformation/change within ourselves and the unconscious mind. Many astrologers have spoken of this event as an electromagnetic "reset". Talk about major shifting.
While chatting about this season we find ourselves in, my sweet friend Lindsey of Mother Sun & The Captain introduced me to the process of Ho'oponopono (the ancient Hawaiian practice of forgiveness). Ho'oponopono believes, along with many other Shamanic teachings, that there is a collective within all human beings. Thus when we heal ourselves, we are healing the collective as well. Ho'oponopono translates, "Im sorry, I forgive you, I thank you, I love you". When we practice this act of forgiveness we are able to face, recognize and reprogram these unaligned perceptions. In turn, allowing us to transmit and restore love within our world.
During the Solar Eclipse season, we are being called to walk through healing so transformation will be released (internally, externally & collectively). A hope will be birthed. We are being asked in this season to let go of what is no longer serving our highest good. Be kind to yourself, take the necessary steps to nourish and encourage your journey. This is a time for major break through which will require a gentle touch. Honor your time alone. Dwell in self love. It is a call to the Phoenix energy ⇝ the rising of transformation, regeneration and burning of the past. We must answer this call. Be open, there is nothing to fear.
Because collectively, its time to make new.
In our art, in our lives, and in our world.
